We took part in Week 7 of Goose Pond Scout Reservation's 2013 summer camp season, August 4-10, 2013. We had our first look at the new waterfront and the new flag poles on the parade field. During the week our new scouts Ryan, Josh, Dominic, Vince, Mario, and Tim took part in the Pathways program and the older scouts earned a lot of merit badges. Everyone had a great time in the camp adventure race! We had a two cool nature experiences right in the Niagara campsite where we stayed - a hawk perched itself over a tent to see what we were up to, and a large tree about 100 feet outside the camp fell down with a resounding crash. On Thursday night we held a US Flag retirement ceremony. Participating youth were Ryan, Josh, Josh, Jake, Dominic, Vince, Tim, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Rob, Karl, Adam, Adam, John, Andrew, Tyler, Tim, Pat, Jeff, and Mario. Adult Leaders Rico Galassi, Griff Lewis, Len Kalinowski, Bob Kokinda, Frank Klassner, Jack Evanik, Dave Minner, Jeff Allan, Drew Yurkanin, Julian Maza, Joe Faltynowicz, Steve Vituszynski, helped with camp management, and, in their first season as adult leaders, Dom Rocco, Ian Lewis, and Rico Galassi, Jr. also camped with us.
