TROOP PHOTO ALBUM

During the weekend of May 17-19, the Troop participated in the Dan Beard District's Spring Camporee at Merli Sarnowski Park. Scout members Matt, Matt, Matt, Ralph, Jake, Josh, Mario, Tim, Vince, Ryan, Jeff, Bobby, John, Josh, and Nick had a great time at the Camporee. The camporee had a Native American theme. The troop had fun competing and learning in Native American skills such as crafts, games, tomahawks, blow darts, drumming, cooking, atlatls, wildlife, and flute. The Saturday evening feast was unique - the camporee staff prepared turkey for all scouts and leaders. Also the troop had to prepare a starch, vegetable, and desert and give it to another troop, in return, another troop had to prepare a starch, vegetable, and desert for us. We also remember hearing a coyote at the campfire Friday evening! Dave Minner, Bob Kokinda, Greg Strony, Rick Galassi, and Ken Srebro were the adult leaders.
